I firstly created the chest piece with interlining hot press down to the outer panels, but this made the piece was bulky, too bulky and also didn't give a very nice finish. I also wanted to test out the order of construct and finish. I realised I needed to bag out the straps first, then finish off the bottom with a different method; this would loose the bulk round the edge, create a better finish to suit the appearance I'm trying to achieve.
